NOTE: The reason for my long absence from updating the site was when I
found out in July of last year that I would be losing my job come the
end of the year due to no fault of my own. I spent what time I had left
at my employer trying to find a job that would be similar to what I was
doing, working remotely in IT/EDI. Suffice to say it was a struggle,
regardless of how robust the job market supposedly was at the time. I
ended up on unemployment from the start of this year until the end of
May when I finally landed a job as a consultant thanks to someone I had
worked with while I was a tech support specialist at a previous job. As
a consultant, it's just a paycheck with no benefits so it's still not the
best situation but at least I am working & bringing in money. I am hoping
I will be brought on as an employee this coming year, but only time will
tell. I am uncertain when the next update will be & apologize that this is
such a tiny one. Sadly, not many people have the need for what I've built
over nearly 30 years so it's not really a priority anymore. Thanks to
everyone who has been a loyal visitor & those few who still contact me on
at least a semi-regular basis.
